Join us on the ACHS campus or virtually via a live stream on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. PST for a more in-depth understanding of the attributes and applications of medicinal cannabis!  

This presentation contains the definitions of endogenous and exogenous cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system. We'll explore the various phytocannabinoids of interest and their respective attributes and applications. We'll also discuss most aspects of cannabis chemistry, including associated non-cannabinoid plant substances that contribute to the effects and efficacy of the whole plant products. Toxicology, dosing and medicinal testing, as well as some of the medicolegal circumstances will also be covered.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Dr. Kevin Wilson graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in kevinwilson_close-up.jpg1983, where he has been an adjunct faculty member since 1990. He continues to be active in the naturopathic profession, both locally and nationally, through membership in the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Wilson has not only served various board positions, but also has served as Legislative Chair for OANP since 2006. He was appointed by Gov. Barbara Roberts to serve on the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Examiners. He is currently a member of the Formulary Council for the Board of Examiners.

His mission is to help people feel and perform their best, treating not only the illness, but assisting people to choose food, activities and supplements or medicines that improve quality of life.
