ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Dorene Petersen, BA, Dip.NT, Dip.Acu, RH (AHG) is President of American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) in Portland, OR., a DEAC accredited distance education institution offering certificate, undergraduate and graduate degree programs in holistic health. Dorene holds a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from Otago University, New Zealand, a Diploma in Natural Therapeutics from the South Pacific College of Natural Therapies in Auckland, New Zealand, and is a certified acupuncturist.
Erika Yigzaw, B.Com, LL.B. (Hons), MG, is Chief Strategy Officer and adjunct faculty member at ACHS. She holds a Bachelors Degree (B.Com) in Commerce (Economics major) from the University of Otago; an LL.B. (first professional law degree) from the University of Otago Law School; New Zealand, and completed the Master Gardener program through Oregon State University in 2008. She is also a 2014 Certified Primal Blueprint Expert. Erika owns and runs Sherwood Lavender Farm following sustainable and low-input farming practices.
